Welcome residents and visitors to the website.  You might be travelling and want to hit some events to meet some deaf people for entertainment or wanting to keep in touch with your friends and have a good time.  This is the place for everyone to come and find things to do.  What we will try to do is mark everything at least 2 to 4 weeks in advance so you can schedule time to go to places.  If time or place has been cancelled or changed, we will try our best to change the notice but we are not held accounted for any problems.  Weather changes can change plans for events so please keep up to date with weather which will be provided on this page.

DeafKC is a family and friend social website!!   Keep an eye for family outing for fun and stuff during the day.

Deaf Awareness Week (always the last week of September) also known as the International Week of the Deaf /  The purpose of Deaf Awareness Week is to draw attention to deaf people, their accomplishments and their issues.   Schools, Amusement Parks, and many other places might hold a day for the Deaf to acknowledge us!
